1. Acer CB315-3H-C19A
Acer CB315 features an excellent chiclet keyboard with numpad that provides comfortable short travel distance and clearly defined accentuation points, while its multitouch clickpad makes for enjoyable use.
The anti-glare panel with narrow 9.5mm bezels on this screen provides plenty of room for typing and working, and offers enough contrast for watching movies and television shows, although its colors don’t really pop like they would on some competitors’ displays.
As opposed to most Chromebooks that rely on cloud storage for files, this one offers 64GB of flash memory for local file storage and its battery lasted over 10 hours during our tests.
3. Acer CB315-3H-C19C
The Acer Chromebook 315 is an ideal daily companion. Powered by an Intel Celeron processor, its fast web page loading speeds and clear video streaming provide a pleasant browsing experience. RAM allows multitasking without issue while its 12.5 hour battery life ensures long days without charging hassles.
The keyboard features a non-backlit chiclet design with numeric keypad, offering short travel distance and clear accentuation points. Furthermore, its touchpad is smooth and supports multitouch – in all our tests we saw excellent performance from this device.
4. Acer CB315-3H-C19D
The Acer CB315 is an economical 15.6-inch laptop priced around 480 Euros that runs on an Intel Gemini Lake processor. It achieved excellent scores both in Geekbench benchmark tests as well as our battery life battery life test.
This 15″ anti-glare screen and narrow 9.5mm bezels creates an outstanding workspace for productivity. There is even a dedicated numeric keypad designed specifically for students and mathematicians. Powered by an capable CPU with long battery life, this impressive machine cannot support resource-heavy classroom projects or hardcore gaming but is nevertheless an impressive option at such an attractive price point.
5. Acer CB315-3H-C19E
With its Full HD touchscreen display and impressive battery life, this affordable Chromebook makes an attractive option for bargain hunters. Unfortunately, its subpar performance prevents it from ranking higher on T3’s Editors’ Choice lists.
Geekbench tests showed it to trail the CPUs found in both the Asus Chromebook Flip CM3 and Lenovo 5i Chromebooks by quite some margin. Furthermore, it scored lower in our Basemark Web test and did not possess sufficient audio capability for use as a music player; furthermore its plastic body felt bulkier than necessary.
6. Acer CB315-3H-C19F
As its name implies, the Acer Chromebook 315 is meant to be cost-effective. But even at its starting price of $359 for our test model (the CB315-4HT-P8PQ), its performance and features fall well short of expectations.
It performed poorly in our Geekbench tests and trailed behind both Lenovo 5i Chromebook and Acer Chromebook Spin 514 when it comes to graphics performance. Furthermore, its connection options were average.
This budget machine boasts a Full HD touch screen and decent battery life, but its plastic construction and middling performance render it more of an impulse buy than an everyday laptop option.
7. Acer CB315-3H-C19G
There’s a reason this Acer laptop consistently tops price comparison sites and T3’s best student laptops guide – it offers all you need from an economical yet powerful laptop. The Full HD touchscreen provides responsive touchpad functionality while its up to 12.5 hours battery life should see most workdays through without needing recharges.
While Chromebooks are designed for working online, their 16GB flash storage enables you to store files locally as well. Plus, their powerful processor and ample RAM will easily handle most tasks you throw its way.
8. Acer CB315-3H-C19H
Acer’s 315 series offers sleek 15.6-inch Chromebooks powered by Google’s operating system, the Gemini Lake Pentium Silver N5000 CPU provides reliable performance for everyday tasks.

Finally, its battery life is outstanding.
9. Acer CB315-3H-C19G
The 315 offers an expansive Full HD touchscreen and a powerful processor, but has unattractively fat bezels and an inferior 720p webcam which overexposes even in bright environments.
On performance, Intel Celeron processor scored about average in our Geekbench tests and came close to matching MediaTek chips found in Asus Flip CM3 and Acer Chromebook Spin 514 models. Furthermore, its 12.5 hours of battery life was impressive as was its inclusion of a numeric keypad for classroom projects – all making this model an outstanding value proposition.
10. Acer CB315-3H-C19G
Acer is known for combining entry-level hardware with ChromeOS to offer affordable laptops, and their 2023 Chromebook 315 continues that tradition.
This Chromebook boasts a 15.6-inch display with upward facing speakers, 4GB RAM memory for immersive entertainment and an Intel Celeron processor to allow multitasking.
The 315 features an antiglare screen with a narrow 0.37-inch bezel and has up to 12.5 hours of battery life, per our tests. In our productivity and Basemark Web 3.0 benchmark tests, this notebook performed admirably; gaming benchmarks did not fare so well however.
